BENEFITING: CAMP CARE INC
It was January 17, 2007 when we heard the words no parent ever expects to hear. "Your child has cancer". Victoria Alexis was the tender age of 4 when the stage 4 rare cancer was discovered. She went through almost 3 years of treatment: months of overnight hospital stays, countless rounds of chemo, two stem cell transplants, surgeries, and radiation. Her body was battle worn with hearing loss, a chemo port, feeding tube, colostomy and limited mobility because of a stroke she suffered. Despite it all, she was our little sunshine and brought great joy to our family. Sadly, she succumbed to her illness on November 1, 2009. We would be honored if you would join us in our endeavor to raise money to help bring sunshine to the lives of kids and their families who are currently dealing with the horrors of cancer.
