Arabian stallion Hegan needs surgery and a good home.
Organized by: Horses needhomes
Hegan, an Arabian stallion, was rescued once in his life already, and now he needs rescuing in a different way. His elderly owner is unable to keep up with caring for the horses and is rehoming them.
Hegan is a ‘grade’ stallion and sadly no information regarding his bloodlines is known. Being a grade stallion makes finding a new home for him next to impossible. Add to that the fact that during his veterinary examination it was discovered that he is a cryptorchid stallion and now his chances at finding a good home have been reduced very dramatically.
We want to make sure that Hegan has a good home for the rest of his life. For this to happen, Hegan needs to have a cryptorchidectomy, a surgery to remove his descended and undescended testicles. This surgery is costly, and Hegan will need to go to a vet hospital to have it done. The veterinarian said the surgery and associated aftercare for Hegan will cost approximately $1,500.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS SURGERY HAPPEN.
Please share and give what you can to help Hegan get the surgery he needs in order to find a new home. The money raised for his surgery will give him the chance at a new life which he greatly deserves.
You can also give directly to Hegan’s account (#14410) at the veterinary hospital if you’d like by calling (615) 591-1232. You will need the account number when you call.
Thank you all for helping Hegan!
