The Animal Resource Center (ARC) of Bloomsburg PA is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to provide temporary shelter for homeless, abused, and neglected domestic animals; educate the public on the welfare and care of cats and dogs; and act as advocates for animal rights. We are also dedicated to promoting the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs; thereby, reducing the number of animals who are homeless, unwanted or destroyed.
We are in desperate need of funds to help pay our veterinary bill. Since our local SPCA was closed for over a month due to a virus, we found it neccessary to try to serve the helpless animals who were at risk of having no where else to go and no one else to help. We were happy to do so for the poor neglected animals, but it took a toll on us financially, especially in regards to our veterinary bills, which exceeded $24,000! We have since paid it down to $15,000, but vet care will be delayed until we can reduce our vet debt to under $10,000. Please help us get our animals immediate care! We survive only on donations and grants. We do not receive any local, state, or federal funding. Please help us continue to help homeless, abused, and abandoned animals get the vet care they so desperately need!
