I first I first want to thank all of you for donating to such a great cause and allowing me the opportunity to be able to run in the Marine Corp Marathon. Having been an Air Force wife of an Airman who recently retired after 21 years, the pride I have for all military men and women runs deep. I am so thrilled, I can hardly contain myself! Thanks again for visiting my fundraising page.
Down the street, across the country, and around the world, the American Red Cross works to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of our donors.
One of the founding pillars of the American Red Cross is our unwavering Service to the Armed Forces. Our commitment to the U.S. military, its veterans and their families continues to grow and develop more than a century after Clara Barton (our founder) first recruited nurses to support the U.S. Army.
This October, I am honored to join Team Red Cross and run my FIRST marathon race in the Marine Corps Marathon. Team Red Cross supports our organization’s mission in a unique way by fundraising for the Red Cross while training to run in the Marine Corps Marathon.
The kindness and generosity of our donors like you enable us to provide a variety of services, both within our own borders and abroad, to help those in need. By donating to my fundraising page, you too can contribute to our positive impact.
