BENEFITING: Good People Fund Inc.
ARDC, a non profit organization based in Tel Aviv, Israel currently provides over 125 refugee and asylum seeking women and children with emergency shelter, childcare, counseling, language courses, training and job placement assistance. Many of these women and children come to the shelter from detention camps on the border - after fleeing their home countries and making the dangerous journey across the Sinai or found sleeping in parks at night. The shelter provides them with a chance to be able to help themselves and their children.
Donations are being accepted through the Good People Fund, a 501(c)(3) based in the US that provides financial support and management guidance to small and mid-sized non-profits in the US and Israel.
The African Refugee Development Center (ARDC) is a grassroots, community-based, non-profit organization that was founded in 2004 by African asylum seekers and Israeli citizens - in order to assist, protect and empower refugees in Israel who have fled their home countries due to war and other extreme circumstances. ARDC assists thousands of clients each year on matters related to visa issues, relocation, refugee status determination, higher education, tutoring and advocacy.
