South Sudan: A country of 11.5 million people where only 57 percent of the population has access to improved water sources. The use of unimproved water sources exposes many to water related illnesses; schistosomiasis, bacterial and protozoal diarrhea, hepatitis A and E, and typhoid fever.
I am running to provide access to clean safe water to the many who is South Sudan who do not have access. An access I know I take for granted each morning I turn on my tap.
Anglican Relief Development Fund can provide clean water to an individual for 8.38 dollars. To provide just over 13 people, one for every mile I will run, with access to clean safe water it only costs 109 dollars.
