BENEFITING: JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE
EVENT DATE: Sep 11, 2016
eRACE Mental Illness and the Silence on Sunday, September 11th at 11AM! The Berman Center for Jewish Education at Congregation Shaarey Zedek will host the Metro Detroit community at a 5K run/walk to raise funds for Jewish Family Service (JFS). JFS has been providing services to those in need throughout our community since 1928 and serves over 900 people annually for counseling and mental health services. 1 in 5 people will experience a mental health condition in any given year. Our goals are to increase awareness of the prevalence of mental illness and to generate donations for a Jewish Family Service anti-stigma campaign.
If you want to donate to the event, click the lime green "donate to a fundraiser" button. If you see your fundraiser already on the bottom of the screen, click right on it to start donating! If you want to give a donation not to a specific team, select the General Donations Team.
If you want to (1) register and donate, (2) register and volunteer, or (3) register and create your own team, click the brown "register" button--and then simply follow the prompts!
If you want to volunteer (and not register), please email firstname.lastname@example.org (Wren Hack) and she will give you the information!
