BENEFITING: ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE OF BOSTON
ORGANIZER: ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE OF BOSTON
EVENT: 2016 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 18, 2016
Dear friends, family, and animal lovers-
I am honored to be running the 2016 Boston Marathon for the Animal Rescue League of Boston. This will be my first ever marathon and the only cause that would motivate me to train all winter and run a marathon is helping animals in need. They do not have voices of their own, so I am grateful for this opportunity.
I am running in memory of my first foster dog, a pit bull named Penny and my childhood dog, a black lab named Quig. My family and I feel blessed to have our 2 dogs, a chocolate lab Hunter and pit bull Piper. They make our lives better every day. Piper was a foster failure. She was hit by a car and dragged herself home. Her owners surrendered her and after surgery of a badly broken hip, she came home with us. Because of organizations like the ARL of Boston, animals are getting a chance to find their loving forever homes.
THANK YOU FOR ANY DONATION YOU CAN GIVE!!!!
**For a donation of $250, your cherised pet will be featured on my race day shirt**
