I served five years as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer, including two years with the 2nd Ranger Battalion. I am now in my first year of medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, and continue to search for ways to contribute to the military and veteran community, bridge the civil-military gap, and promote the core values I learned as an Infantry Officer and a Ranger. One of the mainstays in this endeavor is to undertake challenging missions as a part of a team to support a worthy cause. Enter the Tough Mudder!
I am tackling the Mudder to raise money for Lead The Way Fund - a non-profit supporting disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, been injured, or are currently serving in harm's way around the world. My goal is to not only financially support needy Rangers, but to also raise awareness, appreciation, engagement, and perhaps even participation amongst my medical school and Philadelphia community. I would be honored to have you join me in this endevour!
