Vicki and I will be competing in the Cooper's Lake Tough Mudder in September as members of the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund TEAM. This non-profit provides Ranger Assistance Programs that address and support the ongoing needs of the men and families beyond what the government can offer. They work directly with the U.S. Special Operations Care Coalition to assist U.S. Army Rangers. As a 25 year Veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, and a Iraqi Freedom Campaign Veteran who lost friends in Iraq, this is a cause I care deeply about. If you've ever gotten that chill down your spine and a tear in your eye when the national anthem is played, as I do every time, then you can understand why I support these folks and want to make a difference. As Vicki and I cheered for a Alejandro Villanueva on the Football field this past year, I was motivated to act when I found out he was using his newfound platform in the NFL to support of Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund! I want to help support this fund as well. We'll be taking part in the Tough Mudder to honor those men and women who we have lost, and to support those that continue to serve as they are able, and those that can no longer serve due to debilitating injuries. Please donate and help me reach my goal of $1000 to support the men and women who have fought to support your freedom!
