Arrow is a white boxer who i rescued roaming the streets of ArrowBear, California. She was malnourished, had been over-bread for her age, and obviously beaten. I have had her now for a little over a year now. She has endured eye infections, severe allergies, ear infections, and most recently i found a tumor in between her paws. Now boxers are known for cancer, so i was immediately concerned. Well i woke up one morning to blood all in my bed and saw that Arrow had chewed the tumor half out of her foot. I had previously worked at a vet so i did the best i could to clean and wrap it, changing the bandage every day. Well this morning i woke up to a very scared dog, as she was whimpering and screaming. I took the bandage off her foot to find her paw was 10 times its normal size, it was swollen and covered in discharge. She could not set it on the ground. I immediately called the vet and got an appointment. The vet is giving her antibiotics, but says if they do not work that they will have to possibly amputate as it looks as if her foot is slowly dying off. I work a part time minimum wage job, there is no way i could possibly afford that. But i cannot sit back and do nothing. She has gotten me through severe depression, i have trained her to be a certified Therapy Dog. She has done so much for me, so now i am asking anyone if they could please donate to help me save my pup. Every dollar helps, And would greatly appreciate ANYTHING. Anything that gets donated will cover my vet bills for her, and if she ends up not needing amputation all money will go to her and anything left over i will donate to my local animal shelter. Thank you in advance for everyone's support.
