Articulture is an arts education non-profit located in Minneapolis, MN. Through grant funded outreach programs Articulture serves populations with specific and special needs. In total the programs positively impact more than 800 children, teens, and adults each year. We bring arts experiences to disadvantaged communities in influential ways through both short and long-term programming. At Articulture we believe that the arts should be accessible for ALL! Our specialized visual arts programming is geared to empower individuals and communities to create positive change through the visual arts. We understand how art experiences can effect positive change on all levels and we strive to create innovative ways to bring visual arts opportunities to those who would otherwise not have access because of barriers such as physical disabilities or mental illnesses. Our Arts and Healing classes for adults living with mental illnesses and other disabilities are made possible by grants that require matching funds each year with additional support from individual donors like you! Our specialized classes are free of cost to our participants and includes all art supplies, which is a critical piece of the model as most adults living with severe and persistent mental illnesses have very limited income that does not allow for typical class registration fees or arts supplies. Your donation will provide this specialized arts programming with all arts supplies included to more than 50 adults who live with severe and persistent mental illnesses and co-occurring disabilities in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota for a full year!
