Artemis Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence wrote -
Since 1985, Artemis Center has served over 95,000 Domestic Violence victims and their children. We are dedicated to our mission of Leading the Community in its Commitment to End Domestic Violence. Artemis Center services are needed now more than ever. In 2015, Artemis served 5,300 clients and took 3,495 crisis calls, up 5% and 6% respectively from 2014. Without Artemis Center services individuals in the community will not have access to advocate supported direct services.
Our services include the operation of a 24/7 crisis hotline, court accompaniment, community education, support group facilitation, basic needs support, child therapy, and more. All of the services offered by Artemis Center are provided at no cost to our clients. Your funding will help keep these programs in place. Join the Team and help break the cycle of Domestic Violence today! Our Goal is to raise $50,000 to support our local programming and victim needs. Your Contribution Makes DIFFERENCE!

Purple Purse Challenge:
Artemis Center is participating in a friendly fundraising competition against other organizations that provide services to survivors of domestic violence. Financial control is one of the leading forces that prevent survivors from leaving their abusers. As a result of this, AllState began the Purple Purse Challenge as a national effort to raise money for organizations like Artemis so that we can in turn help our clients become financially independent.
