Producing a large-scale sized piece of artwork can be admittedly rather expensive - particularly if one desires to have special lighting to illuminate the piece properly. My venue, Peaches Bed & Breakfast, has provided a wonderful location over the mantle of their fireplace in their library. The space I have been offered on the North wall over the mantel measures 7' 10" in length.

Currently there is only ambient lighting to showcase the artwork. Since the house is on the State & National Historic Register of Places, great care must be taken to install lighting that is low impact and will not damage any of the walls or woodwork. Good strong LED lighting which will not produce heat - and can be directed toward the piece will be needed. I'm requesting the funds for the creation of the piece itself and the lighting - along with installation or restoration of any area that would be impacted by the addition of the lights.

Additionally, if funds are raised I may consider the creative use of material beyond canvas to create the finished piece (such as metal or photo combined with acrylic composite).
