Japan Arts Connection Lab's Fundraiser:

ArtsFund matching campaign

Japan Arts Connection Lab's Photo

THE STORY:

We're thrilled to be a recipient of ArtsFund's Multicultural Arts Program (MAP) grant! This is a matching grant that encourages our supporters to match the $5,000 they have provided to JACLab so we can continue to bring unique Japanese arts and performances to Seattle audiences.  Please consider helping us meet our goal - any amount makes a difference to our mission.

Recently, we helped bring several phenomenal artists from Japan to Seattle for the first time ever. In November, we helped host Moto Hagio, legendary manga creator, at the Henry Art Gallery in a free-admission chat with this innovative artist. In December, we helped bring four popular alumnae of the famed Takarazuka Revue to the Cornish Playhouse at the Seattle Center. Both events were sold out and received enthusiastic responses from the audience. We're always amazed at the strong appreciation for high-quality Japanese arts and culture programming here, and our mission is to keep assisting high-caliber Japanese artists and craftsmen in enriching our local community with their deep artistry and passion.

Help us keep this mission alive, and help keep Japanese heritage arts coming to  Seattle!
