Mona Naqvi wrote -At the age of 17, Asad Naqvi became ill with mental health issues. For the past 34 years, Asad has endured the suffering of irregular and deteriorating brain function caused by his degenerative disease.
Even worse, some of his treatments caused him further harm. Medications destroyed his kidneys, requiring him to be on dialysis for 6 years and then undergo a renal transplant. Weight gain caused by medications needed to maintain his transplanted kidney led to sleep apnea. Asad has met these challenges with strength, patience and no complaints.
Now, tooth decay resulting from other medications has left Asad with no healthy teeth. He needs his last remaining 12 decayed teeth removed by an oral surgeon, in preparation to receive dentures. Unfortunately, the extractions are not covered by insurance and Asad needs help to face this latest challenge.
To help Asad eat, speak and smile properly again, please consider donating to his campaign and helping to spread the word to others. Thank you all for your support and kindness!
