THE STORY:

Cameron is 11 years old and has Prader-willi Syndrome. This has many heath problems and learning disabilities associated with it. The worst part of this condition is an insatiable appetite. People with PWS will never feel full resulting in them stealing food (even after just eating a meal)... Food must be secure at all times and a slip in vigilance can be deadly! It is possible for them to eat enough to rupture their stomach. This is fatal when it occurs. We have our cabinets and fridge locked but need a walk in pantry where all food and trash will be kept. This pantry will have a door with a key pad lock and it automatically locks so there is no danger of forgetting to lock up!
My Husband and I both work full time and have started this addition but can't afford to finish it. I as the Mom had a second job but injured my wrist and am on light duty and only allowed to work 40 he's a week. This leaves no extra money to go to the addition.
We are not asking for ourselves and don't even lime asking for help but seeing our son eat out of the trash can after just finishing a meal, was the most heart wrenching moment of our lives. Cameron deserves to be safe in his own home. Please help us help Cameron!
