Stuff About Me:

I am a new runner. I could not run to save my life in high school, but after college I really wanted to learn how.

I started small...even trying to go just .3 miles straight without stopping. Yes, that is nothing, but that's where I was at. I am very physically active and was back then too but I believe running takes more mental power than anything and discipline. I was determined to change this.

I decided to sign up for a half marathon December 2015 and my family and some of my friends thought there was no way... but when I set my mind to something, I make it happen.

I ran 3 half marathons last year and now desire to run at least one full marathon. I'm a little nervous, but am excited to challenge myself! Running for an amazing cause is keeping me more motivated. I can't let these guys down.

I'd love it if you would help support this amazing cause with me! La Casa Norte's mission: to serve youth and families confronting homelessness. We provide access to stable housing and deliver comprehensive services that act as a catalyst to transform lives and communities.
