Kristopher, 7 leukemia I wish to go to Disney World Kristopher was born on December 7, 2008, and lives with his family in Sacramento. Four years ago, Kristopher’s grandmother noticed that he was limping as he ran around the house to play, and that he was avoiding putting weight on one of his legs. Because Kristopher was only two years-old, he was not able to verbalize what was wrong. The next day, Kristopher’s grandparents took him to the hospital, and after an entire day of waiting in the hospital, they received the devastating news that Kristopher had leukemia.
Some of Kristopher’s favorite things include Ninja Turtles, playing hide and seek, the color light blue, Michael Jackson, and pandas. When he is outside, Kristopher loves to play soccer, go on the swings, and play basketball like his favorite team, the Sacramento Kings. Kristopher also loves to ride his bike, and is very proud of the fact that he rides a “big” bike. He enjoys painting rainbows and circles, watching “SpongeBob SquarePants” on TV, playing Wii, and watching his favorite actor, Leonardo the Ninja Turtle. Kristopher’s favorite foods are vanilla cake and pink and blue cotton candy, and he loves his home-school kindergarten classes.
For his one true wish, Kristopher is ecstatic to visit Disney World with his family. He cannot wait to go on all the rides and roller coasters, and to splash in the water at the beach. Kristopher is ready to take on the thrills of the “big rides,” but is also looking forward to meeting his favorite characters. Above all, however, Kristopher says that one of the most important parts of his Disney World wish will be sampling their cotton candy. Kristopher and his family are anxiously waiting for the day they take off on their magical trip, where Kristopher can eat all of the cotton candy that he possibly can.
