Assist Armenian Soldiers
Organized by: Levon Tadevosian
Hi Everyone, My name is Levon Tadevosian. I am a Luys Foundation scholar who was financed for studies in the United States. You can find my profile by following this link or by visiting Luys Foundation's website.
All Luys scholars have a commitment to participate in Develop Armenia Together (DAT) program by contributing their creative ideas for projects that make a positive impact in Armenia. As every other Armenian who is concerned about the recent escalation of confrontations in Armenia, - which resulted in the deaths and injuries of both military and civilians - I decided to make a project that would match the current needs of our army. After a thorough research I realized that our frontline militaries are in need of appropriate compressing device (tourniquet) that is used to stop bleeding or blood flow. Tourniquet looks like a bandage and is used not only for personal purposes, but also military (see the link).
With this in mind, I designed a project that will make it possible to supply our military units with a large number of tourniquets. It will help our soldiers and civilians at the frontline to avoid death or aggravation of wounds.
The price fluctuates from $6,5 to $7,5 per tourniquet. With your help I will be able to purchase more tourniquets to make them available for more militaries. Thank you for your support.
