First Annual Tuttle Scholarship Fund
Organized by: Krista Stoker
S2 Breakthrough is committed to teaching athletes that the important lessons learned on the field are much bigger than the game itself. Recently, we received exciting news that two athletes, Mackenzie and Brittany Tuttle, who played for Coach Ashley at the start of what would become incredibly successful softball careers, had been accepted into her alma mater, Emory University. The Tuttle sisters would have the opportunity to receive an amazing education while continuing to play the game they love - softball! Mackenzie and Brittany are two of an extraordinary group of triplets (their sister Tayler received an athletic scholarship to the University of Georgia for track and cross country!). They were raised by a single mom and have embodied the S2 Breakthrough values by holding themselves to the highest standards on and off the field. S2 Breakthrough is incredibly proud of the Tuttles' hard work, discipline and perseverance.
The Tuttle family was recently notified that they will not be receiving the full financial aid they expected. In order to help these remarkable young women meet their financial needs to attend college, this year will begin S2 Breakthrough's first ever Athlete Scholarship Fund. S2 Breakthrough will jumpstart the efforts by donating all revenue from lessons on May 12-16. We would love for all S2 athletes and families to get involved by either donating money in excess of your lesson amount, donating money to this page, sharing this page, or whatever else you can do to help the cause.
Remember - athletes are always there to help other athletes in need!
