For the first time ever, the Tomato Battle is reaching out to the entire community in an effort to raise awareness and money for charity. This year we're making it easier than ever to let all of our participants, volunteers and supporters get involved.

The Atlanta Tomato Battle has partnered with Crowdrise to encourage all participants to unite and fundraise for the local Atlanta Food Bank. Just imagine the impact we can have when harnessed to give back in a fun and compelling way!
The Tomato Battle was founded by Clint Nelson and Max Kraner. While traveling overseas, Clint stumbled upon La Tomatina, the annual festival in Spain, and decided an event of such magnitude had to make its way to the United States. However, it couldn't just be a fruit flying festivity, as everyone knows the United States does it better. So Clint and Max added a full day of live music, a costume contest, and a never ending beer garden. And while having fun throwing tomatoes at relative strangers is all well and good - Tomato Battle, LLC aims to give back to every community brave enough to host an awe inspiring day of ketchup madness. A portion of every ticket sale goes to a local charity - more specifically a food bank. While the tomatoes thrown are all overripe and uneatable - destined for a compost - ridding the world of rotten tomatoes is not enough.
So now, a day long event of music, beer, and tomato-goodness provides three meals for those in need. Giving back to the communities we love, has never been more fun. Or more messy!
We promise to make this an incredibly fun tomato fight with thousands of friends, beer and music-definitely an event you'll never forget!
