The SLO County Behavioral Health Department's "Atomic Fireballs 2000" are supporting Transitions-Mental Health Association’s 35th Annual Bowl-a-thon supporting the SLO Hotline and other mental health services! Our team will be bowling on Sunday, March 6 at Cal Poly to raise funds for this valuable community resource, and we need your pledge of support! Our team plans to raise $500 to keep vital mental health and hotline services running. It takes about ten seconds to donate online, and any amount large or small is so appreciated. SLO Hotline is our county’s only confidential, free mental health support, crisis and suicide prevention telephone line which also provides resource information. SLO Hotline supports the work of local government and mental health service agencies and relieves call volume for the local 911 service by taking non-emergency calls. SLO Hotline strives to reduce stigma, to educate and inform our community about mental illness – what it is and what it is not. Please PLEDGE to our team to keep the SLO Hotline running 24 hours a day/365 days a year!
