AT OUR WITS END & APPROACHING NO PLACE TO LIVE

Last year was our worst yet (excepting losing my mother!) and 2015 is starting to suck to. We find ourselves on the brink of no place to live. Sounds dramatic but sadly, it's true! It began when my better half lost his job of 11 years before the holidays 2014. Earlier in 2014, I fell and broke my shoulder and a rib. My orthopedic physician assistant (I never met the doctor) "treated" the break with physical therapy and shots for 1.5 years, not realizing I had a 75% rotator cuff tear which PT may have made worse. Meanwhile, I was plagued with intense migraines that occurred without warning several times a week and ongoing pain with limited movement of my dominant shoulder and arm. Consequently, I used all of my allotted company time off and utilized FMLA just to preserve my job, even though there was no income. After ordering a MRI, my new doc determined I needed surgery to repair the rotator cuff tear in order to return my life to some semblance of normalcy. Having an already very strained budget, then came the copays and balances as well as the usual monthly bills while utilizing short-term disability which paid less than half of my bi-weekly check. Jack's (better half of 6 years) truck isn't running although he has all the parts to fix it. What I am getting to is this: We have sold literally everything of value - including our BELOVED CAMERAS - my favorite jewelry, dining room furniture and there is absolutely nothing left to sell. On top of it all, now our elderly landlord wants to sell the house we've lived in for over two years and to be embarrassingly honest, due to unending unfortunate circumstances, we do not have deposits to put down on another place to live. We are desperately hoping that we can get help from our friends, family and communities! Thank you so much for your consideration! Every single donation is greaty appreciated!.
