20th anniversary R & R for a selfless lady
Organized by: John Roberts
February 12, 2017
EVENT DATE Feb 25, 2017
My wife Jae and I will have been married 20 years February 2017-For the last 5 years, Jae's physical and mental health has continued to deteriorate and she is no longer able to work. She has been trying to qualify for S.S.I. Disability for over 4 years without success. The happiest time in Jae's life was the 8 years she spent in Okinawa Japan. I wanted to give Jae the best 20th anniversary possible. So I planned a vow renewal on Okinawa in February 2017. Some of you contributed to this original fund. (Thank you! and those contributions will go to this fundraiser) Jae recently told me a trip of this kind is no longer possible for her. So what I’m planning now is a 5 day anniversary trip to Broken Bow, OK to a cabin Jae enjoys for some quiet time and complete rest. Jae suffers from PTSD (from a monstrous event some years ago..YES, they're out of prison), Fibromyalgia which is continuing to worsen and is taking her ability to enjoy even daily events, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and recently we've been told she’s in the first stage of Congestive Heart Failure. Jae has always been there to help many people (Family, friends, and friends she hadn’t met yet!) Would you help me make this trip a reality? She really needs this time away. I would appreciate a donation of any amount. I will update the site regularly, and promise to thank every one personally that helps this memory happen!
Thank you all!
