A TRIP TO MAYON VOLCANO'S EVACUATION SITES
Organized by: edmundo avila
One month has passed since the Philippine Institute of Volcanology announced the possible eruption of Mt. Mayon. At present at least 60,000 people are directly affected in the province of Albay. Men, women and children are living in evacuation centers where 50 people share the space of one classroom. There is a crying need for clean water supply, working toilet facilities and hygiene supplies for these families.
With your help, over 5,842 families in the hardest hit areas of Guinobatan, Daraga, Camalig and Sto. Domingo will initially receive much needed hygiene kits and emergency supplies.
All proceeds from this campaign will go directly toward the families in the hardest hit areas in Albay. The money will be used to buy rice, canned goods, potable water, medicine, and clothes. The goods from this campaign will be distributed to the Families in the EVACUATION SITES in Albay, Bicol Province, Region-V. After we got the FUNDS from this Campaign.
