BENEFITING: ATRIUS HEALTH FOUNDATION INC
ORGANIZER: ATRIUS HEALTH FOUNDATION INC
EVENT: 2013 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 15, 2013
This past year marked my 20th year in the healthcare industry! As I look back my most prominent thought is how lucky I am to have found this space and the people I’ve met along the way. Running for the Atrius Health Foundation is an opportunity that will allow me to continue to support health and to give back to this place I’ve called home since my first real job.
As an information technology professional, I’ve worked with software that helps run healthcare organizations and that also helps to manage patient care. Supporting the Atrius Health Foundation makes sense for me because it allows me to contribute outside of my traditional work but with the same focus on innovation. The programs supported by the Atrius Foundation are innovative, timely and impactful.
I know that preparing for the marathon will be a real test especially over the winter. However, I feel fortunate for this opportunity. I’m sure the many cold hours and sore muscles will pale in comparison to the reward of being a part of such a great cause.
Please consider donating to the Atrius Foundation and supporting me in this run. I’m looking forward to touching base with many of you in the upcoming weeks and days.
