I feel truly honored to have been selected for the 2013 Atrius Health Foundation Boston Marathon Team. I have wanted to run the Boston Marathon for the longest time, and the opportunity to do so for such a great cause, is an absolute dream come true for me.
As I reach my ten-year anniversary practicing at Harvard Vanguard, I have been reflecting on how lucky I am to work in such an amazing and philanthropic organization as Atrius Health. Amidst all of the crises in healthcare today, the Atrius Health Foundation represents all that remains good in medicine: Support for innovation, always putting the patient first, and giving back to our communities. Although I have never run a marathon before, these are the inspiring thoughts that will push me through those cold New England winter early morning runs, and into the finish line on April 15th.
Please consider supporting the Atrius Health Foundation, and I pledge to give this Boston Marathon my all. Thank you!
