My mom fought an amazing fight with ALS. She made a huge difference in the lives who also had the disease. Knowing the toll ALS has on an individual as well as their families my mom did all that she could to help start Hearts for ALS. She had very simple words that continue to have an impact today... "We ought to do something to help people who have ALS." And there Hearts for ALS began, almost 20 years ago. Sadly, Susie lost her battle with ALS 17 years ago. It is my privilege to carry on her legacy and honor her by helping others who are fighting this battle. Please join me and make a difference as we walk for people who are living with Lou Gehrig's disease.
