BENEFITING: MISSION OF HOPE
I went on a mission trip to Haiti in 2013. I had an incredibly moving experience. Since then, I have been emotionally attached to the country - its people, its culture, its beauty, and its progress. A house built through Mission of Hope include three rooms, a patio and patio awning, a toilet, a shower room, and moringa, almond, and fruit trees. They house families that were displaced as a result of the devastating earthquake of 2010. They serve as long-term residences, but most importantly create communities in which children can go to school, families can go to church, and each person can have access to clean water. I realize that $1,000 is an aggressive goal. Instead of hosting a party for my sixteenth birthday, I would like to ask my friends and family to participate with me in this worthy effort. Thank you in advance! I'm very confident that we can reach this goal and change a family's life forever.
