Austin Partners In Education (APIE) serves over 2,000 of Austin Independent School District's most at-risk students in an urban public school setting.
We are excited to see you here on our Austin GivesMiles page! We hope you'll run (or jog, or walk) for APIE or donate to someone who's running for us. Help us reach our goal of $5,000 to provide academic support to economically disadvantaged students in Austin.
Our Math Classroom Coaching program provides academic support for middle school students in math by training and deploying hundreds of community volunteers who go into the classroom during the school day to work with students each week.
Our College Readiness program provides academic tutoring and mentoring to seniors at 10 of Austin ISD’s high schools to help them meet college readiness standards and thereby removing the stifling barrier of taking remedial classes that too many of our at-risk, minority, low-income and first generation students face when they begin their post-secondary education.
In our Mentoring program, over 800 volunteers work one-on-one with students, serving as positive role models and providing support by building relationships.
We are also piloting a new program, Career Conversations, where we bring in dynamic STEM professionals to talk with middle school students about their career, helping students connect-the-dots to the education they will need to attain a STEM career and break the cycle of poverty.
Thank you for your support!
