BENEFITING: AUTISM SOCIETY OF AMERICA
Meet Pete of "Pete's Posse." Peter is an awesome kid who loves swimming, going to the beach, riding his bike, running with his track team, playing piano, singing Christmas songs, and getting into major tickle fights. He also happens to have autism which makes social interactions andcommunication extremely difficult for him all day, every day. Autism is a life long disability which will have major impact on Peter's ability to find a job or live independently.
We are so excited to participate in the Help Solve the Puzzle: Walk for Autism Awareness to benefit the Autism Society of Berks County. With funds raised during this event, Pete and other kids who are diagnosed with autism can enjoy their wonderful programs FOR FREE including music groups, yoga, groups, social skills groups, and monthly family events! The Autism Society of Berks County also provides grants to local organizations who provide specialized services to those with autism as well as grants to local schools. How cool is that?!
Won't you help us help the Autism Society of Berks County with your kind donation? We appreciate your continued support of our team, of Pete, and of an organization that has helped so many families feel a little more safe and secure in the often times overwhelming world of Autism Spectrum Disorder
With love and gratitude,
Peter and his family (Carol, Steve, & Kira)
