THANK YOU for your time and donation. We personally thank you for all that you have done and continue to do to support our efforts and organzation.

Autism Journeys is a non-profit organization dedicated to help individuals and families with autism through our tested and proven programs and services. Beyond this, we have made it a goal to help the families continue on the road of living with autism rather than suffering from autism. At Autism Journeys, we are not naive that treatment is expensive and the path to recovery is long. That is why we have also dedicated ourselves to assisting qualified families with fee-reduced tuition as a top priority.

Recent studies suggest that autism affects 1 in 88 children in the United States and 1 in 47 children in Utah, nearly doubling the national average. This is the most prevalent developmental disability of our time.  With the vast increase in autism diagnosis, parents and professionals struggle to keep up with treatment demands. Research supports the fact that autism treatment is effective, especially if initiated early and with intensity; however, the frequency and time needed to make significant changes comes with a high price tag.  Not only is autism the most prevalent, it is also the most expensive disorder to treat and is not currently a covered disability under Utah health insurance plans.  This forces families to pay out of pocket, usually between $20-80,000 annually, if they have any hope for successful treatment for their child. The road to living with autism rather than suffering from autism is a long and tiresome journey but with quality treatment, it is possible. We believe all individuals should have the opportunity to live happy, healthy and productive lives.

Adding to the exhaustive treatment, autism is not currently a covered disability under health insurance plans in Utah.  Thus, forcing families to pay out of pocket if they have any hope for successful treatment for their child. For most, successful treatment comes with a price tag of anywhere from $20,000-80,000 annually.

Our not for profit organization was created to better ensure all families suffering from autism have the opportunity to receive quality care, education and support regardless of their ability to pay. Autism does not discriminate, nor should its treatment!

Thank you for your time spent reading about Autism Journeys. We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
