We are a non-profit automotive shop that focus on Apprenticeships for high school aged students. The participants will gain real world experiences under the hood of a car at the same time as they get their diploma via an internet based learning program. Our goal is to service a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 20 apprentices per location. They will follow a set apprenticeship course: •Yr 1: Part replacement/ removal - Auto Maintenance and Light Repair Test •Yr 2: Diagnostics (Increase knowledge of vehicle variations) - Automobile and Light Truck Test •Yr 3: Paint and Body (Knowledge of classic automobiles and their place in American lexicon) - Collision Repair and Refurbish Test •Yr 4: Technician Residency where apprentices will work with various automotive shops within AutoDuco to determine their automotive career paths. (i.e. 4x4, performance, collision) - Advanced Engine Performance Specialist Test Money earned from the business will be circulated back into the services provided to the apprentices, salaries of the employees involved in the daily operations of the business, part time salaries of the apprentices, materials needed to operate the automotive business, and additional cost (work uniforms, technology) that are covered for the apprentices participating in the program.
