TEAM USA Handball needs your help as we begin our journey on the Road to Rio! Our ultimate dream is for Team USA to be standing on the podium in Rio at the 2016 Olympics, but we need YOUR help to get us there! We believe through hard work, dedication, and the support of the American People, the USA can be successful in this great Olympic sport!  Be a part of this incredible journey and click the orange "Donate" button to contribute today (it takes less than a minute)!  Every little bit helps, and did we mention donations are tax-deductible?!  It's a Win-Win!  Thanks in advance for supporting this American Dream! :)

MY STORY with USA TEAM HANDBALL:

(Visit www.avrusa.com for even more information)

In the summer of 2012, I watched the London Olympics and fell in love with the sport of Team Handball.  After the realization that both the Men and Women of USA Team Handball did not qualify for the 2012 London Olympics, I quickly developed an interest in how I could be involved in helping the USA be a strong international competitor and ultimately be represented in the 2016 Olympics (and many more to follow)!  I started playing Team Handball locally in Georgia, then traveling to various tournaments throughout the US, eventually leading to a TEAM USA tryout in January of 2013.  My excitement grew when I was chosen to the TEAM USA roster, allowing me the privilege of traveling and competing with Team USA for my first international competition, the Pan American Championships, in June of 2013. It is here where I truly came to the belief that with the committment and dedication of the athletes and coaches along with the support of the American people, the dream of competing in the 2016 Olympics with USA Team Handball can become a reality!  We need YOUR help though!! I am ready to commit full time to training and so are many of my teammates.  We need your support in order to do this though!! Team USA is not funded by the government and completely relies on private donations and sponsorships.  Support the USA Team Handball Women's National Team now by clicking the orange "Donate" button to the right of the page!  Let's travel the Road to Rio together!!
