This is a nation-wide event which benetifs Team RWB, Team Rubicon, and The Mission Continues. **Read more about the teams below! All monies raised will be divided equally among the three organizations.
Locally, we will be meeting at 8am at Papago Park West parking. We will utilise the new 5K fitness trail. You can run or walk along side members of Team RWB, Team Rubicon, The Mission Continues, and others. Family friendly, pet friendly (must be leashed, be sure to bring water and bags to clean up after pets).
*Following the run/walk, we will share in a breakfast pot luck which will be located at Ramadas 9 and 10 (Just a short distance from the trail--you can walk or drive over). Please bring a food or drink item to share with others. This will give us more time to mingle and get to know one another.
This is a free event! No donation OR purchase is required to participate. Shirts are optional. You can order a Run As One 2016 shirt for $20 through the link. If you oder before April 6th, then you should get it in time to wear it on the morning of the 16th.
8:00am Opening remarks, introductions, and description of the event
8:15am Hit the trail.
9:00 (ish) Breakfast - as people finish the trail, head over to the other side of Galvin Pkwy for a pot luck/bbq -- all invited!! We will be at ramadas 9 and 10.
*If you want a shorter route than the 5K, there are other trails available that we can make use of. We will map out alternate routes for those interested! Please don't let the distance keep you from joining us! There will be runners and walkers.
