While you may not automatically associate Halloween with the "season of giving," the only thing that could possibly make Halloween even more special than it already is (we're looking at you, box of seasonal Count Chocula) is celebrating it by helping others!
This Halloween, Azita & Andy are raising money for UNICEF, an amazing organization that helps protect vulnerable children around the world, including children in Syria. The Syrian conflict, which has now been going on for more than five years, has rendered approximately 8.4 million Syrian children, inside and outside the country, in need of humanitarian aid. UNICEF works to provide these children with food, water, health care and immunizations, physical protection, psychological support, education, and clothing.
This year, we hope you'll celebrate the "spirit" of the season (hah!) by donating to Trick or Treat for UNICEF. Even if you just set aside and donate the $10 you were planning on spending on your pumpkin-spice latte and that large bag of fun-sized Hershey's chocolates, that helps!
Also, to incentivize you, we have implemented the following levels of giving:
Spirited Spiders: donation of $5-$29
Spooky Sprite: donation of $30-$49
Ghastly Ghoul: donation of $50-$99
Grotesque Goblin: donation of $100-$199
Bodacious Boogeyman: donation of $200 or more
Different levels of donation are associated with excellent gifts such as high-fives, sincere thank yous, and bear-hugs. :)
Thank you, and - - Happy Halloween!!
