BENEFITING: Children Of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Sep 12, 2015
America's military men and women have fought, bled, and died to ensure the security of this Nation's Freedom and Liberty. Many have left behind children who will never see their parent(s) again. Those same children may further endure the hardships of emotional and economic hardship as a result. The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund was founded in October 2003 as a means of providing College Grants and Financial assistance to surviving children and spouses of U.S. military service members who have lost their lives as a result of their service in the Iraq or Afghanistan wars. I'm running the Tough Mudder Colorado, at Snowmass, on September 12th, and I will be carrying a Ruck (pack) containing 6 paving bricks. The entire pack weighs 40# when dry, which will be for about the first mile. The course is 12-13 miles long, with numerous obstacles along the way. I've completed the course before, without a pack, and have finished a 14 mile GORUCK event with my pack, on flat ground. Yes, this will be tough, but it won't be anything compared to what the Children of Fallen Soldiers will have to deal with. I'm up for the challenge and I am asking for your help. Please donate....
