THE STORY:
Join us on Saturday October 24 at 10:30 am as Seeds, Parents, Counselors, and friends walk together on a route through some of D.C.'s most notable monuments as we raise awareness and support for Seeds of Peace.
We will meet at the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial at 10:30 a.m., and walk past the Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Washington Monument, and conclude at the U.S. Capitol Building for a brief reflection, and group photo.

About Seeds of Peace:
In the face of some of the world’s most intractable conflicts, Seeds of Peace Peace inspires and cultivates new generations of global leaders in communities divided by conflict. We equip them with the skills and relationships they need to accelerate social, economic, and political changes essential for peace.
Treaties are negotiated by governments; peace is made by people. Since 1993, Seeds of Peace has set the standard in international peace-building by providing exceptional young people and educators from regions of conflict with an otherwise impossible opportunity to meet their historic enemies face-to-face at our International Camp in Maine.
We build on their extraordinary and critical relationships and understanding through year-round local programs that focus on the core leadership capacities needed to advance peace. There are now over 5,600 Seeds and Educators from 27 countries who prove that solutions exist, peace is possible, and there is reason to have hope for a better future.
