On Sunday, April 15 (Marathon Eve), I will be one of 25 John Hancock runners that will take to the starting line of the BAA 5K to raise money for Back on My Feet, side-by-side with local homeless men and women who are turning their lives around with the help of BoMF.
The urban course will take 6,000 runners past historic Boston landmarks and across the Boston Marathon finish line.
BoMF is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to creating independence and self-sufficiency within the homeless and other underserved populations by first engaging them in running to build confidence, strength and self-esteem. Find out more at backonmyfeet.org.
Please join me in helping these men and women who are literaly taking steps to turn their lives around.
