BENEFITING: HEART FOR AFRICA
EVENT DATE: Dec 31, 2013
When I heard about SPITTING COBRAS and BLACK MAMBAS lurking just a few feet outside the baby & toddler homes in Swaziland, Africa, I took serious notice. Heart for Africa Co-founder Janine Maxwell recently shared with sadness how both of their guard dogs were killed by snakes!
The children at Project Canaan face many challeges on a daily basis. Besides the venomous snakes, they are battling the weather, the animals and other threats while trying to survive and know Jesus. The immediate need is for basic necessities within the Toddler Home - beds, a kitchen, and additional caregivers who will protect them from snakes and other predators. There are currently 12 toddlers that need to transistion into the toddler home to make room for more newborns.
Please join us today in reaching a goal of $20,000 to help protect these vulnerable children from snakes and provide their basic needs so volunteers and staff can focus on caring for them.
