A scared mother of 6 trapped in abuse.
Organized by: Corina Cadwalader
My mother who is now 45, has struggled her whole life; leaving a dysfunctional family at a young naive age of only 15, to be with my "father" who was 30 and who was hiding an abusive alcoholic side of him. They then had me and my two brothers (Caleb and Christian).Eith our father in and out of jail, our mother got into severe drugs. We ran away for years only to be recently reconnected with our mother after having a baby girl (Cheyenne) and fighting like heck to get her back and was quickly successful. She stayed with Cheyennes father but after having twins, he relapsed onto meth and heroin and is now abusive. My mother has no hope in getting out. She does have a record and so she is out of a lot of help from the state. Mom has been through so much and deserves a break and so do my baby siblings. They deserve a better life than what Caleb, Christian and I had and will hopefully not end up in rehab at a young age or actually get through school. I grew up feeling alone and had hate towards my mom but she has changed a full 180, more than I ever though a person could. She is trying so hard to provide a better life for her babies, be a better mom and friend to me and my brothers, and be an all around better person but a severe lack in funds is holding them back. I can only afford so much with going to school and helling support Caleb and Christian. Please help them live a better life with a fresh start and hope. Any help is hope.
