Rory (my dog pictured) and I have had the privilege to experience first hand the impact of Back on My Feet in the lives of men at the South Baltimore Station. When I tell people I wake up at 4:45 to drive from Essex to SOBO they think I'm crazy. But, what they don't know is the joy and community we encounter running with the SOBO family is indescribably transforming. The dedication of our men and volunteers to gather at 5:30 in the freezing cold and pouring down rain is proof enough for commitment we share to each other.
It is a honor to be running the NYC Marathon on behalf of BOMF. Please help Rory and I exceed out goal of $3000 in celebration the Baltimore BOMF family and the many other lives BOMF has touched!
