I am running to raise money and awareness for Back on My Feet. I have been volunteering and running with Back on My Feet since November 2016. It has been truly eye-opening and inspiring to experience the warmth, motivation, and energy from an amazing group of people getting together to overcome homelessness through the power of running and community support. It's also been incredible to witness people build physical, mental, and emotional strength - from barely being able to run 1 mile, to completing 5Ks, 10Ks, and even half marathons - to find the stability they need to pursue their goals. All of this makes waking up for weekly 5:45am runs worth it.
