Back on the Road
Organized by: Allen Rowe
I am retired Air Force and a Vietnam vet. I am trying to shield a couple of great little girls from lots of chaos. The chaos has been pretty great and finances have suffered. However, a couple of months back I read a book called Extreme Ownership. I realized I had to take ownership of the situation. So step by step I am working toward sustainable finances and a stable life for our 6 year old and 5 year old daughters and for me and the mom, too.
I have never before reached out like this to crowd funding. So I am taking one step here that could make a huge difference for us. My car failed the emissions inspection and needs a catalytic converter. Normally this work would cost from $1,500 to $2,000 from what I've been told. But my mechanic will do it for $350, $300 for parts and $50 for labor. It would really help if you folks could come up with the $300. I can cover the labor. My mechanic is very honest and reliable. He has done good work for me previously. So I feel confident this will be a worthwhile investment.
