THE STORY:

Hello All!, The Blue Skeyes CD is at a major stand still at the moment due to a whirlwind of disasters. Where do I begin to tell my tale of woes? I guess the best place would be at the beginning of the end. So let's start with the floodings In July of 2013 I signed a lease for what I thought was the perfect place to live and set up Cox Production Studios so that I could finish my work on the project. The apartment came with a store front that was the perfect size for the studio and there was a small building attached that I was able to store my live show equipment. Not to mention it was only 5 minutes away from my day job. I was Set!! The move was swift and after a couple weeks I was setting up the studio in the store front. Three weeks into the new place I came home from work to find 1 inch of water from a bad rain storm had destroyed anything that was on the floor. Studio halt #1 Clean up was a real chore to say the least. This happend 3 times with no end on sight. Let's jump forward to February of 2015 The water pipes above the studio burst while I was at work and by the time I got home there was 4 inches of water throughout the entire studio and my apartment. That took its toll on my mental and physical state. But I got through it with much loss of mind and property!! Cleanup was long and devastating No insurance because the place had a history of flooding that I was unaware of until after the fact. All the while I was trying to find a new place working 50 to 60 hours a week and hoping for the best. Then on September of 2015 I was let go from my position as a draftsman at my company because of cutbacks they let 70 people go. Now I was really in a jam trying to find a place with unemployment income. The the icing was put on the cake when the city stepped in. In November the code enforcement deemed the building uninhabitable and I was to be out by an agreed date of December 5th In November I came down with pneumonia which caused me to miss out on getting all of my belongings in to storage on time in fact I am sorry to say I still have about 3 truck loads to go. Because December 26th I had a massive heart attack. That slowed me down quite a bit. Unemployment ran out in April I have managed to stay afloat with the help of family and friends bit its just one thing after another. So my request for a fundraiser to get things back on track is what I am trying to do. I am still looking for employment and looking forward to getting on with this life in a dryer place. At this point I am homeless within 2 weeks. I do have a small house that I purchase that is gutted and deemed uninhabitable until such time as I can afford the cost of materials to make it habitable. Hopefully this will work or at least help. Thank you for your time AWZ
