FORSYTH Insti… SAYS:
On behalf of the Forsyth Ins…

On behalf of the Forsyth Institute, I would like to extend my personal thanks for your recent contribution to the Team Forsyth #Miles4Smiles Boston Marathon Fundraising Campaign. On April 20th, the four Forsyth runners will be heading to Hopkinton to begin their epic race carrying on a 119 year tradition!
Between now and then, the team will be logging countless miles through the bitter winter months. The support from wonderful individuals like you will make it that much easier to keep on trucking!
Your gift supports cutting-edge research programs, and helps translate our work into applications that touch the lives of patients, practitioners, and the public. Our future success depends on many factors: the best scientists, faculty, and staff; the most committed trustees; the latest in facilities and equipment; and the interest and commitment of friends like you. We are proud of Forsyth’s distinguished accomplishments in the field and grateful for your philanthropic support of our work. Please tell the Forsyth story to others and encourage them to become part of our family.

Thank you once again. Please be sure to track our progress on Crowdrise, www.crowdrise.com/ForsythInstituteBoston2015, and Facebook, www.facebook.com/teamforsyth.
Your support and encouragement means the world to us, thank you.

To my amazing supporters, N…
To my amazing supporters,

Now that Marathon week has almost officially come to a close and I've had a few days to process the absolute amazingness that was Monday's Boston Marathon, I want to take a minute to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for giving me a piece of yours. Whether it was encouraging me through a long, bitter winter of training, helping me surpass my fundraising goal for Mass General Hospital Emergency Response Program, running (many, many, many) miles along side me, or even just sharing a beer and letting me talk your ear off about everything from my fundraising progress to the martyrdom of training through a Boston winter to comparing running poop stories. Come on, everyone has one.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I never would have made it to Hopkinton without you. And boy was it worth it. By the time I crossed the finish line on Boylston, my face was sore from smiling. That was, without a doubt, the most fun I’ve ever had running 26.2 miles.
Thank you especially for your generous support of MGH Emergency Medicine and the amazing team of medical professionals who saved so many lives in the wake of last year’s devastating marathon bombings and continues to serve the community of Boston every day with the world’s best emergency medicine and disaster preparedness. Thanks to you, we raised over $5,450 for this amazing program. Together with the 39 other MGH Emergency Medicine runners, we raised a collective $292,598. That’s AMAZING.

Thank you for being a part of the 2014 Boston Marathon with me. It was one for the books. And it will always be a part of me.

much love,
Bridget

Massachusetts… SAYS:
Thank your generous donation…
Thank your generous donation! Your support will allow us to continue to provide our statewide network of vision rehabilitation services and to help those experiencing vision loss live with dignity and independence.

With only 12 days to go until Marathon Monday we are just $5,000 away from raising $150,000, by far the most we've ever raised at the Boston Marathon. We would love your help in closing that gap!

Please share the link below with friends, family, and co-workers, and invite them to join you in supporting Team With A Vision and the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired!

Our Mission

Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.

Founded by Anne Mahlum in 2007, Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to creating independence and self-sufficiency within the homeless and other underserved populations by first engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem. The organization does not provide food, nor does it provide shelter, but instead provides a community that embraces equality, respect, discipline, teamwork and leadership. Back on My Feet’s approach focuses on the very profound and innate desire for all of us – regardless of age, race, socio-economic status – to feel recognized, appreciated, valued and important. Through dedication and hard work, Members earn the opportunity to create a new road for themselves by advancing to the “Next Steps” phase of the program where they gain access to educational, job training and employment opportunities, as well as financial aid. In short, BoMF focuses on changing the direction of people’s lives by changing the way they see themselves.

The organization has had incredible results with 75 percentof Members consistently maintaining 90 percent attendance at morning runs. Fifty percent of Members successfully move from dependency to an independent lifestyle. Learn more about our program results.

Back on My Feet is extremely collaborative with homeless service agencies as well as running and corporate communities. BoMF is grateful for support from so many individuals, races, foundations and corporations – includingMarriott International, Accenture, Bimbo Bakeries USA, AT&T, White LodgingComcast, John Hancock,  Morgan Lewis & Bockius, LLP – all of which contribute to the diverse funding that supports our organization’s 2012 $4.8M operating budget.

Back on My Feet has chapters in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis and Atlanta. The organization will launch in New York City in April and plans to expand to the West Coast in 2013. Back on My Feet has received incredible media support, including attention from NBC Nightly News, ABC World News, CNN, and The Today Showfor its ingenuity in tackling this difficult social issue. More information can be found at backonmyfeet.org.
