Backpacks for Homeless Baltimoreans
Organized by: Harrison Levy
For $20 or less, we can buy and fill a care backpack with items that our Homeless Baltimore Brothers and Sisters really need such as: socks, hats, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, wet wipes, combs, toilet paper, bottled water, and basic food supplies.
If anything, hopefully these care backpacks can bring some good and comfort to their day.
For every $20 received, I will "make" a backpack, and give it to a Baltimorean that needs it.
"Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can leave far-reaching effects." - The Dalai Lama
I got the idea from the article and videos on the webpage below, check it out:
"Homelessness is a very real problem. Solving it requires a lot more than just what you or I can do on our own. But that doesn't mean we can't help individual people. I really loved this idea and am going to make a few of these myself.
Watch the first video to see what an impact a little bit of your time, $20, and a heart for our fellow human beings can have. And then watch the second to learn exactly how you can help people who don't have a home. These packs are easy to put together and will make a difference."
Please let me know if you have any questions.
