This fundraiser is raising money for a necessity that will help keep several hundred children out of child labor and in school. In Panama, the Ngobe Indians are very poor and often can't afford the $15 it costs to buy their kids a uniform to go to the free public school. Casa Esperanza is a wonderful program that offers assistance to these kids in getting uniforms, hot meals and a backpack for school. This donation is to help Casa Esperanza purchase 300 backpacks for these children. The school system is so packed here that kids only get to go to school for half a day. When these kids are not in school they are in danger of being forced into manual labor. Donate $20 for a sturdy, quality back pack to be given to a child. $100 will provide 5 backpacks.
