BENEFITING: Mawuvios Outreach Programme
Mawuvio's Outreach Programme (MOP) has been presented with an EXCITING funding opportunity, a dollar for dollar match up to $25,000.
Between now and September 25th the Atlanta based Craft-Edmunds Foundation will match EVERY dollar donated up to $25,000.
This matching campaign translates into funding for the ENTIRE upcoming 2015-2016 Mawuvio's academic school year. The funding allows the great work to continue in Ghana, every dollar supporting the day to day operating expenses of the Mawuvio's school.
Every dollar contributed makes a significant difference by providing textbooks and school supplies, by supporting the teacher's salaries and the daily nutrition program and staff.
EVERYONE AT MOP APPRECIATES YOUR SUPPORT AND CONSIDERATION. Please help MOP with this incredible fund raising opportunity.
Established in 2009 MOP began with 7 students. Today MOP supports the well-being and education of 60 children.
MOP also provides support for medical expenses. Earlier this year MOP got all the students and teachers registered with the National Health Insurance in Ghana.
In 2013 because of the generosity of MOP friends, a critically ill 1st grade student, Lilian Ampomah received medical care that saved her life. Lillian was at Ridge Hosptial in Accra for 22 days and because of the generosity of people like you, she will be in third grade when school begins on September 8th, 2015. Lilian continues to be one of the top students in her class, one day she wants to be a medical doctor.
This funding match campaign is a significant opportunity and milestone for MOP. Everyone at Mawuvio's appreciates your consideration and support.
From our hearts we THANK YOU ! Founders, Eric Agoe and Renee Farwell, all the teachers and each and every student ! ! !
